Web Development

For the last 9 years I have worked professionally at various organisations as a Web developer focusing on Perl, PostgreSQL and MySQL. During 2003 I discovered PHP and began happilly developing websites and online tools in PHP.

Programming has been one of my passions since I was 12 years old.

The largest project I have been involved in is a global web based tool for one of the world’s largest IT outsourcing companies for collecting and tracking UNIX security audit data across multiple versions of 8 flavours of UNIX. This project was housed on 3 postgreSQL databases hosted in Sydney Australia, Newark USA and Maidstone UK along with dedicated services in many client networks including BHP Billiton, BHP Petroleum, Maybank and BAE. Unfortunatly this code is all proprietary and no demo is available. It was entirely developed in Perl.

Most of my current work involves small applications and WordPress customisation. I also have professional graphic designers available to do any required design work and additional HTML/PHP/Perl coders to take extra load when it is necessary.
